Aktualnie Południowa Polska walczy z powodziami, występują silne opady deszczu, które z dnia na dzień powielają poziomy wód w rzekach i zbiornikach wodnych. Sami wiemy, jako miłośnicy spędzania czasu na zewnątrz, że natura jest piękna i potrafi zadziwiać, ale również potrafi być silna, okrutna i śmiercionośna. Polskę dotknęła klęska żywiołowa pozbawiając ludzi z kilku rejonów kraju całych dobytków, niszcząc przy tym szpitale, szkoły, sklepy czy zabytki. Miasta stanęły pod wodą, a przed mieszkańcami czeka wiele miesięcy ciężkiej pracy, aby wszystko wróciło do normy. Przed nadchodzącą zimą w rejonach górskich jest to bardzo ciężka sytuacja. Liczy się czas i jak najszybsza pomoc najbardziej potrzebującym.

Dlatego jako właściciel GB Hiking - Private Guided Walks organizuję charytatywny trekking w Parku Narodowym Peak District, który odbędzie się 05.10.2024, o godzinie 9 rano z miejscowości Edale. Start z parkingu Edale, kod pocztowy S33 7ZQ.

Co należy zrobić, aby być na liście uczestników?

Wystarczy wybrać dowolną organizację charytatywną, która zbiera pieniądze na rzecz poszkodowanych w wyniku powodzi w Polsce, następnie wpłacić dowolną sumę, a następnie wysłać potwierdzenie wpłaty na [email protected]

Po dokonaniu wpłaty uczestnik otrzyma krótką informację o przewidywanej trasie pieszej oraz o tym co należy ze sobą zabrać na wędrówkę. Niestety nie jestem w stanie zagwarantować pogody.

FREE HIKING WITH LOWLAND LEADER – CHARITY HIKING FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN POLAND – DONATE

Hello everyone,

Southern Poland is currently battling severe flooding due to heavy rainfall, which is increasing the levels of rivers and water reservoirs day by day. As nature enthusiasts, we know that nature is beautiful and can amaze us, but it can also be powerful, cruel, and deadly. Poland has been hit by a natural disaster, leaving people in several areas of the country without their homes, destroying hospitals, schools, stores, and historical sites. Cities are submerged, and residents face many months of hard work to restore normalcy. With winter approaching, this situation is particularly severe in the mountainous regions. Time is of the essence, and prompt assistance is crucial for those in greatest need.

Therefore, GB Hiking - Private Guided Walks organise a charity hike in the Peak District National Park. The event will take place on 05.10.2024, at 9 AM from Edale. The starting point is Edale car park, post code S33 7ZQ.

What do you need to do to be on the participants' list?

Simply choose any charity organization collecting funds for flood victims in Poland, donate any amount, and then send the donation confirmation to [email protected].

After making the donation, participants will receive feedback about the hiking route and what to bring for the hike. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the weather.

I am so happy to announce that my next solo trekking trip is taking place soon. 🏔

The Tour du Mont Blanc or TMB is one of the most popular long-distance walks in Europe. It circles the Mont Blanc massif, covering a distance of roughly 165 kilometres (103 mi) with 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of ascent/descent and passing through parts of Switzerland, Italy and France. 🫡🥾

It will be an unforgettable experience!

The Tatra Mountains is one of my favourite areas to hike. The highest peak is 2499m asl on the Polish site, and 2501m on the Slovakia. Landscapes are incredibly beautiful.

There are many walking trails to choose from the Zakopane city, the hearth of Tatra Mountains. Also, in Tatra National Park, it is available to book a night in the mountain huts, so it is not necessary to come back to the city in the middle of our trip.

The trails are in good condition and kept in good maintenance, and all information is visible and clear to read.
