If you still have a RED passport then this post is especially relevant to you!!

If your passport is due to expire in the next couple of years then it's really important that you understand the EU rules for passport validity that are now in place.

If your passport was ISSUED before September 2018 then there's a possibility that you have had extra months added to the end of the 10-year expiration date, making your passport older than 10 years by the time of its expiry. These extra months no longer count when travelling to the EU, so your passport may now expire BEFORE the written expiry date when travelling to the EU.

There have been many sad stories of families turned away at check-in, and this is not something typically covered by travel insurance, so many thousands of pounds can be easily lost by overlooking this tiny detail.

I've just had my monthly bill through for my card processing fees... 🤢😱

If you're able to, I'd be so grateful if you would consider paying your holiday balance by secure bank transfer wherever possible. Card fees are now costing my small business several hundreds of pounds each month, so every bank transfer really does make a difference and helps me keep more of your money invested in what matters most – providing a personal service and helping you create amazing holiday memories.

For added peace of mind, all holidays I sell are fully protected by ABTA and ATOL where applicable, and all client funds are held safely in a secure trust account. If you'd prefer to spread the cost, I can also arrange convenient monthly payment plans to make budgeting easier.

Of course, I completely understand that card payments are sometimes the preferred option, and I'm always happy to accept them when needed. Thank you, as always, for supporting my small business ❤️

NEW Direct route announced to Zanzibar ✈🏝️

TUI is set to launch a direct service from London Gatwick to Zanzibar as part of its winter 2027 programme, becoming the first UK operator to offer non-stop flights to the archipelago.

The twice-weekly service will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays from 3 November 2027 until 22 March 2028.
