The Cat That Slept for a Thousand Years opens at WX Wakefield this weekend! 🐱

From 10am on Saturday (21 March) you can immerse yourself in the magical movements of the 10-metre-long Cat, brought to life by Air Giants!

Originally commissioned by Manchester Museum, part of The University of Manchester, the cat will be at WX over Easter with visitors able to show their affection by giving it a stroke or a cuddle and feel a massive purr.

The 𝗥𝗵𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗯 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 is officially live as part of Wakefield’s Rhubarb Festival 🎉

We’ve got 50 rhubarb stickers hidden in shop windows and inside businesses across the city centre and it’s completely free to take part.

🎥 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 to hear 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 explain how it works and where to start.

🍴 𝟭𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗵𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗯 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱.

As part of Wakefield’s Rhubarb Festival, the Rhubarb Scavenger Hunt is coming back – bringing free, family-friendly fun, local businesses to discover, and prizes to be won 🙌

Think rhubarb characters hiding in shop windows, a reason to explore the city, and a perfect half-term activity for all ages.
