Happy 3rd Birthday to me .
How quickly did that fly ?
I have loved every second of my business , even the challenging times . I still enjoy getting up to go to work .
See travel has always been in my blood . It was always what I wanted to do .
At 8, I knew I wanted to be a holiday rep.
At 14 school asked me what I wanted to do and I told themโ I want to work in travel .โ So for work experience they put me in a taxi firm (true story )
At 19 I moved abroad to pursue my dreams and spent the next 8 years working abroad .
After returning to the uk I didnโt settle in many โjobs โ and moved around . Finally settling down as a police officer for 17 1/2 years( if you are wondering there is no height restriction )
I loved my career, but I was surrounded and sinking in negativity . I prayed for sunnier skies and decided to gamble and start my own business .
Looking back on the last three years :
There has been many tough times that I donโt post about .
Iโve made mistakes!
Iโve had imposter syndrome
Iโve doubted myself!
But you all, without you even knowing have kept me going on my dark days.
See I love travel and equally LOVE looking after people and here I get to do both .
I LOVE hearing from you and always remember you are NEVER bothering me !
I know everyone is a travel agent at the moment , and you can also book online . But you choose to book with me and for that I am very grateful . Iโm in business for 3 years because of YOU!
For that I am forever grateful !!
Travel has brought me so many wonderful memories and Iโve turned into the luckiest of people . Donโt enter a raffle if Iโm about , I seem
To keep wining ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Im around for my family more (except when Iโm travelling ๐คฃ๐คฃ)
Ultimately Iโm so much more unpolitically me.! I thank travel for returning that part of me that I truly missed.
Looking to the future โฆ
More learning for me to make sure I stay ahead of the game for you .
Im looking to grow the business and maybe in the future take on staff .
We all need dreams and itโs never too late.
On 23rd December 2024 . For all my loyal customers that booked with me between 23rd December 23 and 22nd December 24. I will draw one person at random and they will win a 4 night break in Portugal . No catch!
I will continue this each year but will move it to 1st November . 1st of November is the day my business started and also my late moms birthday . I think it will be great way to honour her and my business together . We will call itโKarens Getawayโ
Iโm taking some of the day off today .
Open to business all weekend and would love to help with your next holiday .
Thank you for supporting me . You are the best โค๏ธ
