Martine has just come back from the fabulous Budapest, and what an incredible city break it is! 🇭🇺✨

If you're looking for a destination packed with culture, history, great food and stunning scenery, Budapest should be high on your travel wish list.

Split by the majestic Danube River, be sure to explore both the historic Buda district and the vibrant Pest side. One of the highlights of my trip was taking an evening cruise along the Danube, watching the city lights begin to illuminate the beautiful buildings that line the riverbanks. It truly is a magical sight.

For a little relaxation, treat yourself to some downtime at one of Budapest's famous thermal spas.

A great way to get your bearings and see all the main attractions is by using the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus, allowing you to explore the city at your own pace.

Food lovers won't be disappointed either! From the deliciously crispy lángos to traditional goulash, Rose Ice Creams, there are plenty of local dishes to sample throughout your stay.

One of the most moving places to visit is the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial. This humbling tribute serves as a poignant reminder of the city's history and is a must-see during any visit.
