Russell Hoops Basketball Russell Hoops is a unique youth basketball organisation based in Hertfordshire that provides expert coaching to girls and boys between the ages of 7 to 18.

The Russell Hoops program was launched in 2011 and designed for developing fundamental skills, sportsmanship and to positively influence youth through basketball. Russell Hoops provide and run weekly academy sessions, 3-day camps throughout school holidays and unique skill-specific basketball clinics. Russell Hoops has a great reputation in the local community through delivering coaching in numerous primary and secondary schools and colleges throughout Hertfordshire.

first joined us at the age of 15. The over 7 foot football convert invested a significant amount of time in his development and progression, attending our weekly skills academy sessions religiously as well as our holiday camps and performance camps. Recognising his potential, Haydn undertook regular 1to1 coaching sessions with Director Jack Burnell to further enhance his development. Haydn progressed rapidly and soon earned an offer from Barking Abbey to play within their basketball programme. Attending their ABL partner school Dagenham Park, Haydn continued to show real promise spending 3 years learning under some of the best coaches in the UK. Haydn has now moved on to his newest chapter in Gran Canaria attending the Joel Freeland Basketball Academy and playing for.
Everyone at Russell Hoops is so proud of what Haydn has achieved to date and we look forward to seeing his career flourish👏❤️

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel next Tuesdays day camp at Broxbourne. Anyone that has booked on should have been refunded/or will be in due course.
