A fun long weekend in Marrakech for my husband's big 40 birthday surprise ๐Ÿช ๐Ÿ•Œ ๐ŸŒ™

My first time in this utterly bonkers and totally intoxicating city. Thronging with every smell, colour and sound you can imagine. The most zingingly fresh food and straight-out-of-Aladdin rose-coloured backdrops.

Started with a thorough rub, scrub and dreamy massage at a unique family hammam, a guided tour through the medina's labyrinth of ancient, artisan-filled souks, camel riding in the Agafay Desert, a few hours in the oasis-like Anima Gardens and wrapped up with a spectacular sunset over the rooftops of the city ๐ŸŒ‡

(Oh, and a shed-load of increasingly frenzied shopping ๐Ÿคฃ)

If you've not been, Marrakech is a fabulous taste of the exotic right on our doorsteps with gorgeous, characterful riads and infectiously energetic people. And, it's utterly amazing value ๐Ÿ˜โœจ๏ธ

Someone's having a blast ๐Ÿ˜œ

My clients, Hayley, Adam, Jake & Olly (and, full disclosure, my best friends ๐Ÿฅฐ), are one of three sets of families I have currently in Florida for May half-term. And they're loving it!

Hayley & Co are on their first visit to Orlando, staying onsite at Walt Disney World Port Orleans French Quarter. They're feeling very smug to have bagged a free Disney Dining Plan when they booked which is giving them a couple of included meals per day, and lots of other perks ๐Ÿ˜ Well worthwhile with super high US prices.

Weather can be less reliable in May Vs the verrry popular Easter holidays. But prices are generally much better, queues are lower and the magic is still absolutely alive and kicking ๐ŸŽ† ๐Ÿฐ

Disney's free Dining Plan offer is now live for 2027 arrivals. So if you're planning to don the ears and unleash your inner big kid, NOW is the best time to book your stay in an official Disney hotel next year.

I can show you the world... ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜„

It's been a Maldives pros and cons kinda Monday...

My family clients are planning the Maldives for the second time after the first once-in-a-lifetime trip was actually so good that it seemed almost silly to limit themselves ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've suggested two options to them, but the problem is, they love them both! So how does one decide?

Option #1: LUX* South Ari Atoll. I โค๏ธ LUX* hotels. They're the best combination of impeccable quality, super stylish, incredible food. But also playful and fun with thatch-roofed red phone boxes for complimentary phone calls home, a wandering aperitivo bar, messages in a bottle tucked away in hidden spots and promising massages at the LUX ME* spa or dinner under starry skies for the lucky finders. And all set on a truly beautiful private Maldivian island.

Option #2: Le Meridien Maldives. Squirreled away on a remote atoll in the Indian Ocean, Le Meridien is the full on Robinson Crusoe experience. If Robinson Crusoe also had a stupendous spa, multiple restaurants and a two-bedroom private pool bungalow stilted over the tranquil waters of the lagoon... Excellent for diving, a bit more chilled and with a gloriously relaxed, boutique hotel kind of feel.

But which one?! ๐Ÿค”

The holiday that so very nearly didn't happen ๐Ÿ™ˆ

The most lovely catch up today with clients freshly back from Vietnam & Singapore.

Over three weeks, they've ticked off Hanoi, a luxury overnight cruise on jaw-dropping Ha Long Bay, an overnight sleeper train (using the word 'sleep' lightly ๐Ÿ˜‚) to UNESCO-listed Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh, the Mekong Valley, the beautiful, paradise island of Phu Quoc for some beach time, before finishing up in Singapore ๐Ÿ‘

And all the more remarkable as it was so nearly nobbled by world events. All was going swimmingly with the planning until the Middle East situation went berserk, taking their flight plans with it.

This special trip was a big one to celebrate my client's retirement, so there was no way I was giving up without a fight ๐Ÿ‘Š

New airport, new airline, new flight times and some very trusting customers who left it in my hands later... And hurrah: holiday back on track ๐Ÿฅณ

Doesn't it look fabulous?

Vietnam is just a place you can't not fall in love with โœŒ๏ธ

I feel like 'amazing' isn't a word that gets bandied about enough now when it comes to service ๐Ÿ˜„

My always friendly, always honest style means I'm on your side to get it right for you from day dot. I try to look at trips from every angle, iron out hiccups and present you with the most wonderfully spot-on itineraries, based on what you've told me you'd love.

And while super service at planning stage is a given, the fact that over 70% of my total clients have gone on to become regulars tells you it never just ends at the booking ๐Ÿ’œ

Two bookings today, and two very different ways to get from A-B โœŒ๏ธ

First up is clients heading off on Canada's iconic Rocky Mountaineer train next July. They've picked the two-day one-night journey from Banff to Vancouver through the spectacular scenery of the Rocky Mountains. And they're doing it in style ๐Ÿ˜ They've upgraded to Goldleaf which features huge panoramic windows for 360-degree views and exquisite dining & drinks.

Next is something a bit more rough & ready. I've also booked a 3-night Iceland experience for clients dreaming of Northern Lights and lagoon lounging. I've arranged for them to do what was my highlight of my own trip to Iceland: Superjeeping! They'll be picked up in a custom monster truck for a no-holds-barred rumble across the rugged Icelandic terrain, through streams and up onto the glacier. It's impossible not to pull up at the busy tourist spots of the Golden Circle feeling anything but completely smug as you step out of one of these ๐Ÿ˜„

Which would you prefer? ๐Ÿšž or ๐Ÿš™

Over the moon to announce that we've just received a King's Award for Enterprise 2026 in Innovation ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ†

One of only 185 companies nationally to scoop this prestigious award, it's widely regarded as the highest official UK honour for business excellence ๐Ÿ‘

In real terms, that means the same personally and perfectly planned travel arrangements, backed up by innovative tech that helps me to go even further to make every detail spot on for you ๐Ÿ’ช

A busy old day of tickets here at Travel Towers ๐Ÿ‘

It'd be so easy to think that the world of travel is all kinds of stressy at the moment. What with wars, reports of snaking queues at European borders and the ever-gloom of fuel shortages and fuel costs. But behind the shouty headlines, things are pretty normal. And I like normal ๐Ÿ˜…

My clients are flitting off to destinations near and far over the next fortnight or so. I've got bucket listers kicking off an epic rail trip across Japan, lots crossing the pond to the States (everywhere from Orlando to New Orleans), some of my very lovely regulars off to Marrakech, a family off for their first trip as a four to the spectacular Ikos Resorts Porto Petro in Mallorca, two others cruising the Norwegian Fjords and a mum & daughter duo checking in for a girly weekend in Copenhagen ๐Ÿฉท

Yes, there's been a few flight schedule shuffles and a couple of cancellations, it definitely pays to leave extra time if you're travelling in or out of Europe, and there are a few destinations which are still proving a pickle. But if you're up-to-speed with travel advice, making sure you're booking flexibly and know you're backed with financial protection if things change, then you're golden.

Or if you'd rather have someone experienced consider the drama on your behalf, wrap everything up in one protected package and smooth every detail from first enquiry to check-ins and tickets, then that's okay too ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘‡
