International Women’s Day took place yesterday, and we’re continuing the conversation across Telent and M Group with a series of activities that explore this year’s theme, . The theme encourages collaboration and support to drive progress for women and girls, and our teams are bringing this to life throughout March.

A joint Live Talk hosted by Telent's Women’s Community and M Group Telecom's Gender Network opened the discussion last week, offering reflections on mentorship, leadership and career development.

Activity continues over the coming weeks, including a clothing donation drive for SmartWorks, a charitable organisation working to support unemployed women around the UK with the clothes, coaching, and confidence they need to succeed at their job interview and transform their lives.

Telent is offering exciting apprenticeship opportunities supporting Hinkley Point C (HPC), the UK’s first new nuclear power station in nearly 30 years. Working alongside EDF, we’re helping to design, build and maintain the vital communications and technology systems that keep one of Europe’s largest construction projects connected and operating safely.

As an ICT Telecoms Engineer apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across areas such as site-wide connectivity, resilient IT networks, CCTV, telephony and other critical communication solutions used by thousands of workers every day.
