Halloween is looking very different for many of us this year. We know many of you love Halloween but, kids get cancer every day of the year because childhood cancer actually doesn't care if it's your favourite holiday. 🎃
Halloween, Christmas, your birthday - It'll strike and it'll happily ruin it.
Kids cancers are pretty much random, we don't know what causes them so, they can affect any family and they brutally take lives.
Many of us are making the post of a Halloween at home this year, having fun, playing games and dressing up, but staying safe at home at the same time. We all like to share photos of our kids dressed up on Halloween. 🎃 👻 🧹 🧙♀️
Sadly, in the world of childhood cancer, we will see so many friends post "last Halloween photos" this week. You know the ones, the very last photo they have of their child dressed up having fun at Halloween.🎃 🧙♀️
And I'm pretty sure some pics we'll all see this week will be the actual last Halloween photo ever taken of some kids too because that child will sadly pass from cancer in the next year.
And then next year, that parent will post that photo as "the last ever Halloween pic I have"
Some know it'll be their child's last Halloween
Some are already in this world, but they don't know that this is their child's last Halloween
Some are yet to be thrown into this world of childhood cancer and are, as yet, obvious that this is their child's last Halloween.
That's the really scary part..........
Childhood cancer needs more awareness and research. 🧪 🧫 💊
