Tours start on a Thursday evening with arrival at Walls Farm in time for welcome drinks and supper and bike fitting (if necessary). Accommodation is based in the luxurious Walls Farm Cottages where you can also enjoy the wonderful garden and swim in the heated indoor swimming pool.
Friday is usually our big cycling day, it can be challenging but is always fun and involves coffee, cake and a great visit, for example to Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery or The Newt. When you get back to Walls Farm there should be time for a swim or a massage or simply to relax before Kay serves a delicious supper.
On Saturday we get a bit creative, this could involve throwing a pot with Di Harris, tile making, willow weaving or baking bread. Whatever we do we’ll make our way there by bike. And don’t worry absolutely no experience or aptitude is necessary – it’s all about taking part, chatting and having a laugh. We might also visit a local cider maker or vineyard before heading back to Walls Farm to relax or read or swim or walk and a bbq supper (weather permitting).
Sundays start slowly with a short cycle and a wonderful restorative yoga session, followed by a scrumptious farewell brunch. The tour ends at about 1pm.
The full itinerary will be confirmed nearer the time, it will include the best cycling routes to make the journey interesting and exhilarating to suit your requirements.
Three nights including breakfasts, suppers and brunch, visits, guiding and accommodation starts from £450 per person based on sharing a twin room. Max 6 people per tour, minimum 4. Extras such as massage and transport to and from local train station can all be arranged.
