Today is Mongolfiere Day, the anniversary of the first manned balloon flight in 1783 and celebrated by balloonists around the World.

We took advantage of the great weather slot and took to the skies with our chums from First Flight.

It was a training flight for crew member Paul, who is on his way to gaining his Private Pilot Licence. Views of Cheddar Gorge, Burrington Combe, with Bristol Channel and Wales beyond.

Both Chris Monk Ballooning and First Flight are continuing to fly throughout the Winter months on glorious days like this!
