🚢 WANT THE BEST CABINS, SUITES & LAUNCH OFFERS? P&O WINTER 2028/29 IS NEARLY HERE…

Yes, I know… 2029 sounds absolutely ridiculous 😂

But if you already know you’d love a P&O cruise in Winter 2028/29, this is actually the time to start thinking about it.

Why?

Because when a brand-new season launches, you usually have:

✨ The widest choice of cabins
✨ The best chance of getting your preferred deck and location
✨ Better availability on suites and popular cabin types
✨ Early-booking or launch offers
✨ More choice on the most popular dates and itineraries

And if you want a suite, I really would get in early.

There simply aren’t as many of them, and the best ones can disappear quickly, especially on Christmas, New Year, school holiday and longer sailings.

So rather than everyone messaging us on launch morning saying, “Amanda, can you just have a look at this one…”, I want to get organised beforehand.

The new collection is revealed and we can start looking properly at what’s coming.

📅 Wednesday 21 October
October to December 2028 cruises go on general sale.

📅 Thursday 22 October
January to March 2029 cruises, plus selected Arcadia Summer 2029 sailings, go on general sale.

Well, this made me stop scrolling! 😳🚢

I’ve just seen a post saying Queen Anne could be leaving Cunard to join P&O Cruises in May 2029, with a makeover and a completely new name.

And apparently Arcadia could be heading to Holland America too!

I haven’t seen the official announcement yet, but if this is confirmed, there will certainly be plenty to chat about.

You know I love a bit of Cunard. The dressing up, afternoon tea, dancing and that lovely feeling of making an occasion of your holiday. So the thought of one of the Queens becoming a P&O ship takes a little getting used to!

I’d be really curious to see what they would keep, what they would change and how different she would feel onboard.

And Arcadia has so many loyal fans. I imagine quite a few would want one more holiday with her before saying goodbye. ❤️

This week’s Tips on Tuesday is a very personal one for me.

I spent 21 days travelling through Peru with my son on an incredible G Adventures trip, and it is still one of those journeys I will never forget.

We travelled through Lima, Arequipa, Cusco and Lake Titicaca, trekked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and finished the adventure in the Amazon.

It was amazing, but it was also full-on. Lots of trekking, very early starts and the added challenge of being high in the Andes.

So my tip this week is simple: if Peru is on your bucket list, prepare properly. Get some walking in beforehand, take the right kit, allow time to acclimatise to the altitude and don’t try to cram too much in.

Peru is so much more than Machu Picchu. The whole journey is part of the experience.

And sharing it with my son made it even more special.
