larating walks taking in the panoramic views, if you're lucky you might even spot a Red Kites or two. You will love your stay in one of our gorgeous yurts, featuring a king-size bed, sumptuous bedding and a log burner to keep things toasty with logs and kindling provided throughout your stay. Lanterns, fairy lights and bunting adorn the inside of each yurt, setting the mood for romantic evenings. Outside on the deck of each yurt, you can sit and dine alfresco from your Kadai barbeque. Paths lead you from your yurt to the facilities offering an extremely well-equipped kitchen, with a range cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and Nespresso machine. Nearby are three shower rooms, one allocated to each yurt, with the ultimate shower experience. Fluffy towels, dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries are provided. All three yurts have a USB socket inside them for recharging phones. Rowan Yurt has a large jacuzzi that connects via BlueTooth to your phone and massage jets, and is located near the facilities building, a short walk from the yurt. Oak Yurt and Birch Yurt have wood-fired hot tubs sitting outside the yurt on the deck, hot tubs will be heated to a temperature and ready to use on arrival and will be reheated each day.

We've had a few long stay guests at The Secret Yurts recently, including this family of three fledgling blackbirds and their busy parents, who built their nest right outside the kitchen! Our woods are full of birds, from the huge red kites and buzzards to the tiny wrens and nuthatches.

Another lovely review!

"Surprise 60th treat.
We stayed from Friday May 2nd til today Sunday 4th as a treat from my wife to celebrate my 60th birthday. I had no idea where I was driving to and only discovered it upon my arrival. To be honest, didn’t know what a Yurt is! Michelle the owner greeted us and escorted us to our Yurt while showing us the amenities along the way. I was truly bowled over by the quality of and cleanliness of the whole site. The hot tub was immaculate too which we were happy to use and normally avoid in other places.
I can honestly say that our stay was truly enjoyable and peaceful. The other guests were lovely too which added to our experience. Definitely worth considering. We will be back and hopefully bring friends with us next time. Thank you again Michelle.

We are so lucky to have a great choice of walks locally, to suit all dogs and all weather!
Today we did bespoke walks - Inka had a long explore in Dyfnant Forest and Anja went to Deri Woods.
Dyfnant Forest has lots of well marked paths and tracks between the huge trees so provides lots of shade. We walked for a couple of hours, taking in some of the Glyndŵr's Way and great views, and didn't see another person or dog the whole time.
Deri Woods is also beautifully cool and shaded, and provides lots of interesting sniffs for a more leisurely stroll. The river Banwy is easy to reach for a paddle, especially as its so low at the moment!

Boris is loving his stay in Oak this weekend! He's spent over an hour sniffing in the DogWood, tracking pheasants, rabbits, squirrels and all the other wildlife that passes through, while his humans enjoyed the view from the bench at the top. Boris also enjoyed his yurt window, watching the sheep and lambs, and then a well earned snooze.
He's currently supervising Pizza Night. Good work Boris!

Set amongst six acres of thriving woodland and wild flowers you will have ample opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds, enjoy exhilerating walks and take in the panoramic views, where you can truly be at one with nature. And if you're lucky you might even spot the Red Kites that can occasionally be seen here. You will love your stay in the beautiful, individually styled luxury yurts each with a king size bed, luxurious bedding, a cosy log burner and flickering candles setting the mood for romantic evenings. There is stylish garden furniture outside each yurt for you to sit and dine alfresco from your barbeque. Paths lead you from your yurt to the luxurious facilities offering an extremely well equipped kitchen. Three bathrooms, one for each yurt with the ultimate shower experience, sumptuous fluffy towels and dressing gowns are provided, so you can just simply go and relax in the sauna or hot tub.
