Last month Uber acquired Otto, a start up autonomous truck company for $600m. The far reaching consequences of autonomous vehicles are pretty damn interesting. I reckon they took the name Otto from the single cylinder 'Otto-cycle' engines which Karl Benz, Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach first developed in 1886. That changed our world, will this?
