The flowers are home.The costumes are packed away.And somehow another show week is over ✨🎭

I’m exhausted, emotional, incredibly proud… and very, very grateful.

To every dancer, parent, helper, backstage volunteer, costume-fixer, coffee-provider and calm voice in the chaos — thank you ❤️

Forty years since Seven Brides for Seven Brothers opened at The Prince of Wales theatre London… which honestly feels impossible.

Some people you can go decades without seeing and still slip straight back into the same conversations, same laughter, same memories.

Theatre friendships are different. They become part of who you are.

And apparently… at one point I was “over Rory’s head.” 😂

A lot of what I’m building right now probably doesn’t look very exciting from the outside.

It’s early mornings, admin, messages, learning, planning, juggling different roles… and quietly figuring things out as I go.

But I’ve realised I’m much more interested in building something slowly, calmly and properly than chasing quick results.

Recently I’ve realised how precious my time is.

Not in a dramatic way…
just in a “I don’t want to spend my life constantly rushing anymore” kind of way.

For a long time, I think I just accepted being busy, exhausted and stretched too thin as normal.

Now I’m starting to question that a bit more.

I’m becoming much more intentional about how I spend my time, who I spend it with, and what I want life to actually feel like moving forward.

And honestly… I think a lot of people are starting to feel the same.
