In the whirlwind of challenges this month has brought, it also brought another milestone… 6 years since I started this journey. And that in itself is my reminder and motivation to keep pushing and trusting the timing.
Six years ago I was looking at returning to life in an industry I hated, facing the idea of my children starting school and not being the one on the school runs with them. Whilst I was so grateful to have spent their youngest years at home, the idea of closing that chapter of my life felt unbelievably painful.
On a whim, the idea of starting my own business—following my passion and expertise in the travel industry—came to me. They do say New York is the city of dreams, and I knew I had to follow it. Less than a month later, with the help of , my business was born.
Now, six years on, I am beyond thankful to that version of me for following that dream. Not only have I built a business that I adore, one that allows me to keep doing what I love—exploring the world, meeting and caring for people, and inspiring them to travel—
but also a business that allows me to be there for every school run and every nativity, and one that has made the big family I always dreamed of possible.
If you had told me six years ago that I would be lucky enough to be a mother of four now, I don’t think I would have believed you.
Trust in the timing and say yes to the unexpected plot twists when they present themselves …they might just change everything 🤍
