A long weekend can sometimes feel like a proper holiday if you get the destination right.
You haven’t got a week to settle in, so I think the trick with a short break is choosing somewhere where you can get off the plane and actually start enjoying yourself.
For me, that means thinking about the whole trip, not just how nice the hotel looks. How long is the flight? How easy is it to get from the airport? Do you want to explore, eat, relax, see a bit of culture… or perhaps a mixture of all of them?
I’ve always thought there’s something quite satisfying about squeezing a lot out of a few days away. You don’t necessarily need two weeks to come home feeling like you’ve had a proper break.
And this is where I can help.
When someone comes to me looking for a short escape, I’ll look at the things that can make or break it. Flight times, transfers, location, the sort of traveller you are and, importantly, how you actually want to spend those precious few days.
Because if you’ve only got four days, I want you spending as much of them as possible enjoying your holiday rather than sitting around waiting for it to start.
So, if you’ve got a long weekend in the diary and fancy making a proper break of it, give me a shout. Let’s see where I can get you for those few precious days.
