With a bit more than a month to go we are finally starting to make plans for our first trip, having few flights cancelled last months we decided to play safe and explore the beauty around us, hoping the British weather would be by our side ☀️.
As Borders in UK are starting to open, Wales is now on reach for England residents 🥳🤩.
This trip will be a special one, first time with the kids in a Caravan, first time in Wales as a family ( We’ve been there as a couple many years ago and to be honest I barely remember ) First trip after rushing out from Italy as they were approaching the first lockdown due Covid. I like to plan a few trips in advance to make the most of the low fees and car rental deals. now a days is a must to opt for non-refundable, and ABTA protected suppliers to give the peace of mind in case of a change of plans. Follow below a few of my choices for post lockdown ⬇️

1 Cotswolds - Is not a city but a region, is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a handful charming villages full of character.

2 Warwick Castle and Stratford-Upon-Avon - The castle is a popular option for families, has a lot to keep the kids entertained all day. Near by is Stratford, birthplace of Shakespeare has a lot to offer, from nice walks, quirky cafes and boat tours.

3 Bath - A bit further away, famous for the Roman baths and Medieval heritage, has been in my list for the past 12 years , still can't believe I've never been !

4 Oxford - Is a good base when exploring Cotswolds and a must for any Harry Potter fan.

5 Camber Sands - Our choice for hot days, extensive sand beach where is possible to find a decent spot even on busy days ( can't say the same for parking, so go early).

We suppose to be flying to Brazil today 😭, for who doesn’t know I am Brazilian but living in London since 2007. Is the second time we had to postpone the trip, little ones are starting to forget how amazing 🇧🇷 is and they haven’t seen their family members for about 3 years 🥺... we hope we can safely go soon..... however, while we wait for the storm to pass, I am keeping myself busy planing something really exciting for May half term. Wales or Lake District ?🤔 which one would you choose ? 🇬🇧
