Even the seagull was confused and bemused by yesterday's rain and hail!
The mommy seagulls sat tight on their nests though so hopefully all their eggs were kept safe.

Any late June/July visitors will get to see the little ones growing their feathers and learning to fly!

Here we often highlight to tourists the extreme dangers of them sitting underneath the boulder clay cliffs along the beach at Upgang in Whitby

The evidence of daily cliff collapse is right there to see strewn across the sand - giant boulders of clay weighing dozens of tons that fall down at any moment

The usual response is people telling us to fxxk off

Here at Spyglass 1708, we’d much rather see North Yorkshire County Council Enforcement Officers issuing Tickets to nasty littering people that treat the beach and town like a public tip and less time issuing tickets to people parking on the verge at Sandsend
