Dan, our Founder and CEO, is in The Gambia for the next phase of our new programme launch.

Opening on 1st January 2027, there is lots to do in preparation for our first groups, and we are delighted with the response by groups wanting to travel to this beautiful corner of West Africa.

Baboucarr, our Foundation Co-ordinator, and Dan spent Wednesday morning at the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education with Musa Bah, Regional Director, planning next week's Partner School Signing Ceremony, where we will formally onboard our seven new partner schools.

After an incredible response to our prize draw to win a free school trip to The Gambia, it's time to reveal which school will be heading there!

We're excited to officially open our new African Adventures office in Naivasha, Kenya, strengthening our presence in the region and bringing our team closer to our partner schools and the communities.

This is more than just a new office; it's an exciting opportunity to work even more closely with local communities and help create lasting, meaningful change across Naivasha.

Gracekids Education Centre's aim for this summer was to improve the learning environment of their classrooms. Our volunteers worked alongside them to make this happen by tiling a classroom, painting two classrooms and making new tables and chairs for the students.

"We are sincerely grateful to African Adventures and the volunteers for transforming the PP1 and PP2 classrooms through painting. The classrooms now have a bright new look that has made learning joyful for the children. The tiled classroom and the new chairs and tables have made the classrooms comfortable for effective learning.
These projects have made a real difference in our school, and we appreciate your commitment to making education better for our learners. Asante sana!"
