This nine-night private tour takes you through the heart of the subcontinent, from the lake palaces of Udaipur and the blue city of Jodhpur to the pink streets of Jaipur and the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, all in the comfort of a private vehicle, with expert local guides in each city.
Begin in Delhi before heading south to Udaipur, where an 18th-century heritage haveli sits on the banks of Lake Pichola, with views across to the City Palace and Lake Palace. En route to Jodhpur, pause at the extraordinary Ranakpur Jain Temple, a 15th-century white marble marvel featuring 1444 individually carved pillars, no two alike. In Jodhpur, the blue city unfolds around you, with the commanding Mehrangarh Fort rising above the rooftops and the marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada standing quietly nearby.
Continue to Jaipur to explore the grandeur of Amer Fort and the elegance of the City Palace, before your journey reaches its romantic finale in Agra. Here, the Taj Mahal at sunrise lives up to every expectation, and Agra Fort and the stepwell of Abhaneri complete a city full of history and iconic landmarks.
