"If I could rate 6 stars, I would! Our extended stay at Riverview was simply wonderful. The property is in an idyllic spot and our evening stroll on the Stour regularly involved Otter spotting, and there is plenty of wildlife on the River and across onto the wildlife area on the opposite bank. Being able to watch the river from the master bedroom was a joy and the patio and private grassed area beyond are so quiet to sit out on and watch the occasional canoe, resident Kingfisher, or small group of cheery long-tailed t**s. As our stay (due to a break in house move chain) ended up being over 2 months, we also got to know the lovely neighbours well. It's a quiet, respectful neighbourhood and the natives are friendly!! Parking is easy and things like recycling all well organised. If you don't know the area, everything you could need is close by, and it's an easy walk in to Wimborne for food, drink and other supplies. Our daughter loved the little park further up the river and the other two parks we found in different parts of Wimborne were also great. There are lovely walks from the doorstep. Also a great location to easily commute to other attractions, beaches etc. In terms of the day to day in Riverview, it's got everything you need, great bed linen, and comfy beds and a well fitted out kitchen. The build quality is good and despite being terraced, you don't hear the neighbours. Maintenance is good, both in terms of regular outdoor maintenance such as grass cutting and window cleaning, but also if anything goes amiss during your stay. We had a dishwasher fault fixed quickly by a very friendly maintenance man the company use. The office team at Short stay homes are also great to deal with - efficient, effective and friendly service. We'd definitely stay again and have recommended to friends and family, too, as it's rare to find such a great property in an equally great location!"
