In celebration of 250 years of Jane Austen, we are thrilled to share some wonderful news for fans of literature, history, and timeless design…

The last home of Jane Austen, on College Street in Wi******er, has now been lovingly restored and opened to the public for the very first time!

Jane spent the final months of her life in this graceful house alongside her beloved sister Cassandra, having moved here to be closer to her doctors. Though her time there was short, this home remains a deeply meaningful part of her story and now, you can step inside and experience it for yourself.

I’m delighted to see this hidden treasure brought back to life. Whether you adore Austen’s novels or simply appreciate beautifully preserved architecture, this is a moment not to miss.
