👑On Friday 5th June, His Majesty The King will present new colours to the Royal Marines. Several hundred troops will march through Windsor, from Victora Barracks, up to Windsor Castle where the private presentation ceremony will take place in the Castle quadrangle. The last time the Royal Marines received new Colours was in 2001.

Visitors and locals are invited to line the streets to watch the Royal Marines as they proceed on their way up to their ceremony, on Friday morning. Roads along the route will be closed to enable the massed troops to safely proceed.

The image shows The King, who consecrated the new Colours, featuring his cypher, at the British Royal Navy College, in Dartmouth in December, ahead of the Presentation this Friday.
