It is an ideal holiday location for nature lovers and those wishing for a quiet, relaxing break. There is a wide expanse of grass at the front of the site overlooking the valley where children can play ball games and fly kites. Two new areas of play equipment have recently been installed in the centre of the park. A pleasant stroll along the valley or beach in the direction of Winterton - on - Sea will bring you to the Winterton Gap Beach Cafe, overlooking the sea, the cafe is open 7 days a week in season from 9am until late afternoon. Highly recommended the full English breakfast is served 9am till 11am. They also offer a variety of homecooked meals and snacks, teas beverages and ice creams for those hot summer days! Winterton village itself boasts a small grocery store, post office, newsagent and an excellent fish and chip shop. Under two miles away is the more vibrant Hemsby, which has a pub and launderette.
