If you are booked in with us this summer , here’s a few idea for you .
Why not try Spurn Point Pen*sula ,put on your walking shoes and walk around the whole of it , or if your lucky enough pre book the safari trip and drive around it across the beach , if you have brought your dog park at Kilnsea crown and anchor pub and walk to the discovery centre have a cuppa then back to the pub for your tea and watch the sun go down .
Maybe give Kelsey gardens a try , yoga ,open water swimming , canoeing, paddle boarding , walking , fishing or bird watching .
Maybe a trip to the wonderful Deep Aquarium, then afterwards a walk around the marina then tea at the Minerva pub for fish and chips .
If you like stately homes
We have Burton Constable Hall and gardens a beautiful Elizabethan house ,
Burton Agnes Hall and cafe , then further on to buy some lovely plants at Reignton garden centre
Sewerby Hall , gardens and zoo then get the little train into Bridlington along the sea front .
Like museums Hulls free selection is great at the Museum Quarter , then onto Hulls land of greenginger and visit so great old pubs full of character.
Children will love Honeysuckle farm for a fun day out .
Beach days with the dogs and children are great , check the tide times and go either to the far south or north of Withernsea , lovely quiet beaches great for a paddle ,go up the only inland lighthouse and have cake and coffee in their lovely garden .
Burstwick driving range is fun then stay over and have your tea.
Across the road from the cottage are Hollym escape rooms , further up the village is the little cafe Wellies and Pies with lots of treats and of course the Plough pub .
