One of my favourite beaches I have visited in Europe and I love this photo I took while walking along the rugged coastline before taking a swim in the clear blue waters. If you haven't been to Ibiza, just head away from the party scene and you'll find a really special island!

In 2016 I took a day trip on the Mekong Delta, what a place. Home to floating markets, Khmer pagodas and villages surrounded by shimmering emerald rice paddies. But this vast, seasonally flooded maze of rivers, swamps and islands is so much more than an exotic holiday destination. Its wetland ecosystems support a biological treasure trove and hold an extraordinary array of wildlife. They also provide vital livelihoods for millions of people across the region. The easiest way to visit, is to take a small group tour from Ho Chi Minh city while you are in the south of Vietnam. Which is a great city in itself to spend time in.

I have been lucky enough to visit San Francisco 4 times. It's the main jumping off point to get up to Lake Tahoe (see my previous snowboarding post) and to head down the PCH / Highway 1 to places like Santa Cruz, Monterey, Big Sur and Yosemite National Park. I took this photo in 2008 just before me and my wife biked across, all the way to Tiburn and we took the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf. A great but tiring day out!

Lake Tahoe was my go to for snowboarding back in the day. Sitting on the California and Nevada border, the south shore had a mix of both seperated by a set of traffic lights. Located 3-4 hours north of San Francisco, offering plenty of mountains to ride, amazing powder with Californian sunshine and the back drop of the lake, just hit the spot everytime!
