There’s nothing quite like a ski trip in the Italian Dolomites! ❄️🏔️

One of my clients is heading to Canazei, a beautiful mountain resort in Val di Fassa, right in the heart of the Dolomites for Christmas.

With spectacular mountain scenery, access to the famous Dolomiti Superski area and plenty of slopes to explore, Canazei is a fantastic choice for a winter escape. Add in the traditional Italian atmosphere, cosy mountain restaurants and delicious Italian food, and you have all the ingredients for a brilliant ski holiday. 🍕🍷

Everything is included, from lift passes to ski equipment and I have help the family with ski lessons as well.

Another exciting trip booked, this time it’s Tromsø, Norway! 🇳🇴❄️

My clients are heading north for a magical winter escape a few days before Christmas, including a Northern Lights tour in the hope of seeing the Aurora Borealis dancing across the Arctic sky. 💚💫

Snowy landscapes, Arctic adventures and hopefully a spectacular natural light show… what’s not to love?

This Sunday, one of my regular clients is off to Crete for a week of sunshine, relaxation and a little bit of luxury at the stunning Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa. ✨

JAPAN IS ON THE LIST! ✈️🍜

I’m delighted to have booked this incredible 17-day Japan Uncovered adventure with Wendy Wu Tours for my clients, and what a trip they have coming up! They are in the air right now!

Japan is one of those destinations that really does have it all… futuristic cities, ancient temples, incredible scenery, fascinating history and a culture unlike anywhere else.

Their itinerary takes them right through the heart of Japan, visiting:

🇮🇹 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: PALERMO, SICILY 🇮🇹

Today I have clients heading to Palermo, Sicily, staying at the NH Palermo, a great base for exploring this fascinating corner of Sicily. 🇮🇹☀️

And one of the things I love about Palermo is that you don’t necessarily need a car to make the most of your stay.

🍋 Palermo itself
The historic centre is packed with incredible architecture, markets, churches, piazzas and plenty of places to eat and drink. Much of the centre is best explored on foot, with public transport available for getting further afield.

🏛️ Monreale
A fantastic day out from Palermo, famous for its spectacular cathedral packed with stunning 12th-century gold mosaics and views across the Conca d’Oro. It can be reached by public transport from Palermo, with connections via the city bus network.

🏖️ Mondello
Fancy swapping the city for the beach? Mondello is Palermo's famous seaside resort and can be reached by local AMAT buses. Perfect for a relaxed beach day without needing a car.

🌊 Cefalù
One of Sicily's most picturesque coastal towns and a brilliant option for a day trip. Trains run from Palermo Centrale to Cefalù, with the journey taking around an hour on many services.

🏺 Bagheria & the surrounding coast
The railway also gives access to places east of Palermo, making it possible to explore beyond the city at your own pace.

So while Palermo itself has more than enough to keep you busy, there are plenty of options for exploring Sicily beyond the city without needing to hire a car.

And that's exactly what I love about creating a trip, finding the right base and then looking at what you can realistically experience from there. ✈️

Krakow is such a brilliant destination for a city break, with its beautiful Old Town, historic streets, incredible architecture and fantastic choice of cafés, bars and restaurants.
