That’s a wrap on the Summer Holidays ☀️ 🌊

What a Summer it’s been. Beach days, pool days, adventures, late sunsets and a whole lot of memories made across the Parks.

As the school bags come back out and Summer starts to wind down, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who spent part of it with us. 💙

But we’re not done yet… Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks is open right through until 2 November, with Autumn escapes, quieter coastal days, October half term and plenty more still to come.

5 reasons September might just be the BEST month to visit Woolacombe 🍂 🌊

1. Summer doesn’t suddenly end in August ☀️
September can bring some beautiful late-summer days - perfect for getting outside, exploring the coast and squeezing a little more out of summer.

2. A little more room to roam
The school holidays may be over, but North Devon certainly isn’t. Beaches feel bigger, coastal paths are quieter and those hidden coves and viewpoints become even better to explore.

3. The sea has had all summer to warm up 🌊
September is a brilliant time for surfing, bodyboarding, swimming or simply getting your feet wet after a long walk on the beach.

4. Walking weather is at its best 🥾
Not too hot, not too cold. Head towards Morte Point, discover Barricane Bay, wander the South West Coast Path or simply pick a direction and see where you end up.

5. You get the best of both worlds

Summer’s not finished with us just yet ☀️💦

We’re giving you an extra week to make the most of our outdoor swimming pools, with plans to keep them open right through until Sunday 13th September, weather permitting.

Whatever the forecast, the holiday carries on 🏖️

Swap the beach for a heated indoor pool, catch a wave on Wavesurfer, settle in for a film at the cinema, get competitive with the family, let little ones loose in soft play or take the opportunity to disappear into the spa for a while.

And sometimes? Waterproofs on and straight outside anyway. 🌊

There’s plenty to keep everyone busy across our three Parks, indoors, under cover and out in the fresh air, because a bit British weather doesn’t need to change the plans.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – DISPOSABLE BBQs ⚠️

Due to the current high fire risk, disposable BBQs are not permitted anywhere on site until further notice.

Along with the temporary national ban on their sale, the holiday parks industry body has advised all member sites not to allow disposable BBQs, so this is a precaution being followed across the industry. Disposable BBQs are also currently banned on Exmoor and certain beaches locally, with various restrictions in place.

🔥 Please do not bring or use disposable BBQs on Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen House or Easewell Farm.

Gas BBQs provided with our accommodation (Platinum, Sapphire, Emerald and Diamond caravans, as well as all lodges, apartment and farmhouse) are permitted, provided they are used safely and responsibly.

As a reminder, fire pits and open fires are never allowed on our sites. Our EXplorers fire lighting skills and fireside story time activities always run with precautions in place.
