There's a lot of talk in the farming Community about regenerative agriculture. Some people love it, some don't. Some think it's a silver bullet and others think it's too generic. Many, from across the doctrinal spectrum, see it as a threat!
Here at Mindrum, we see it as an inclusive mindset, underpinned by a way of thinking which allows us to make practical sense of complex problems on the ground. We find it enables us to make balanced choices between conflicting scientific insights, observation, doctrinal approaches and popular or regulatory dogma. It's one of several tools we use to make sense of this increasingly complex and dynamic world.
Regenerative thinking goes beyond agriculture, offering an holistic approach to the way we interact with our environment. By valuing systems thinking, diversity, and long-term perspectives, we can build resilient ecosystems, communities and businesses.
Significantly, in my context, It allows us to tune the balance we maintain between productivity and the impact we have on the context within which we produce.
