You will find Worcestershire in the Heart of England, part of the Cotswolds and framed with undulating hills and iconic scenery carved by the river Severn as well as the river Teme, Avon and many more. The Malvern Hills rise out of the valley and from the summit on a good day you can see up to 13 counties.
Worcestershire is more than the sauce, it has many tales to tell full of rich and varied history. The Iron Age Hill Forts, the arrival of a Viking ship and as one of England's busiest inland ports. By 1660 Worcester was the 12th largest city in England despite the effects of being the location of the first and last Battle of the English Civil Wars, discover the story of the Civil Wars at The Commandery.
Today Worcestershire has layers of history that are waiting to be uncovered, from the Royal Worcester Porcelain to the Needle making supplying the world and Worcesters Glove making history.
