Ann Marie Lovejoy Bruce- Kerr, founder and creator of the Lovejoy Centre, our sessions and our products. I love what I do and have a true passion for it. I want to help make the jobs of Activity Coordinators that bit more easier by delivering sessions and creating products that bring variety, fun and stimulate memory and social interaction in a joyful way. My philosophy is to provide a service of

the highest standard which meets the individual needs of each client we engage with. Their wishes and individuality are respected and given the utmost consideration when our activity sessions are designed. This helps me to work alongside care home management to promote individuality with dignity. Also, the role of the activity coordinator is often overlooked and is a very lonely place, so I champion the work AC's do and offer support, training and have created an online tribe of AC's providing advice, support and encouragement. and an online academy. I know first hand how powerful engaging activities are for older people who have dementia or live in a care home setting. Lovejoy Centre was started in 2011 and my passion has grown and has created dementia-friendly products for activities as well. I also do an annual care show and activity coordinator awards each year.

A very busy fun filled day at the centre today. Lots of activities done, arts and craft, reminiscence, puzzles, Word searches, group word search and so much more.
We currently have three vacancies if you’re looking for a place for your loved one who is living with dementia then please consider us. We provide stimulative activities from 10 am to 3 pm and go out frequently on outings. For more information, please call Anne-Marie on (07735) 550570.
