After 36 years of active diving and cave diving its time to put my experience back into the diving world. I come from a dry caving background and am an examiner and Training Officer Somerset section with the Cave Diving Group. I have worked within the dive industry and run many trips to Wrecks, Reefs and Caves. I am an active Nitrox, Technical, Sidemount and Cave Instructor with TDI. Contact me to

Congratulations to Adam Castle on his TDI intro cave over the last few days in what frankly is some of the best UK cave conditions I’ve seen in a long time. Only problem we have probably spoilt it for your continued diving with the Somerset Section CDG. Excellent work diver. Keep it up.

Congratulations to David Clarke on completing TDI Intro Cave. Couple of good dives in Porth Yr Ogof to finish. Excellent conditions and low flow. A bit of line TLC completed as well. A pleasure to dive with you and enjoy the underground Journey.

Now taking Training Bookings into 2026. Availability in 2025 now extremely limited. Unless cancellations crop up weekends are full.
So with plenty advanced warning. We will be running a Full Cave CCR course in France with potential to add guided fun dives at the end if wanted, starting the 4th May 2026. Two spaces remain. Staggered deposits possible. If you have a requirement for training let us know well in advance. Dive safe all.

A good and productive set of dives in Porth Yr Ogof with Nora Kovacs introducing her to the Welsh underground world. Flow was on the high side to start but visibility good. Lost line and No lights exit to finish.
