Many of our guests love to visit Erddig NT/YG and Chirk Castle during their stay - so this is very welcome news 🐕 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

EXCITING NEWS for Wrexham and Erddig Fans! 🤩🌿✨

National Trust confirmed today that Erddig’s recent dog-friendly trial has been a success, which means dogs on short leads can now officially explore the formal garden year round! Yay!!! 🤩

Dogs weren’t allowed into the garden at all before the trial so this is another big win for dog-friendly days out in Wrexham… for anyone who missed the news from earlier in the year, NT Chirk Castle gardens are also accessible to dogs following another successful trial this year! 🙌

Ted’s going to be VERY pleased about this one! 😁🐕🌿✨

Just your average footwear collection when you run a smallholding with a holiday barn on site… 👢😂

There’s the “slightly muddy” pair, the “definitely don’t wear these in the barn” pair, the “I’m only popping out for 5 minutes” pair… and a few others that nobody can explain. 🤣

Running a smallholding sounds lovely until you realise half your day is spent in wellies, talking to sheep and wondering what on earth you’ve just stepped in. 🐑💩

Luckily we have separate 🐑 free path around the paddocks for guests to explore during their stay.
