This illuminating sign has sat in our York Branch for a while now. It dates back to the 1940s/50s. The Patisserie Belge was a well-known local shop and bakery located in Flamborough, East Riding of Yorkshire. Does anyone remember that far back. A little bit of Yorkshire culinary history.
