The Monks have landed on Little Stonegate, right in the heart of the city, and have already made it on to our 'Top Three places for Beer' list.

We were there on opening day for Northern Monks Refectory in Leeds over a decade ago, and we were chuffed to be at The York Refectory on opening weekend.

With 20 taps of gorgeous beer and a great food offering we are sure it'll be a hit with our guests 🍻

We are now providing Zaytoun Extra Virgin Olive Oil in our holiday apartments for our guests to enjoy. We absolutely adore this olive oil and have been enjoying it ourselves for over 15 years now. The mouth feel is beautiful and it has a gorgeous peppery flavour.

This olive oil is ethically sourced from small scale farmers in the West Bank whose ancestors have tended their trees by hand for generations. Produced from rain-fed & hand picked olives this olive oil is not only an outstanding high quality product but also a representation of Palestinian resilience 🫒

As well as serving delicious speciality coffee, they have a large range of iced drinks and have introduced us to our first espresso tonic 😵‍💫

We previously posted about the books we bought for our holiday lets to mark this year’s International Women’s Day. The books hadn’t arrived in time for IWD but here they are now in all their glory! The colours of the covers match perfectly with the decor in Seebohm 😘
