Touring the US this summer? are planning to use the National parks? well here is a heads up for you -
From 1 January 2026, the U.S. National Park Service has introduced new fees that directly affect international visitors
Non-U.S. residents can purchase an 'America the Beautiful' Annual Pass for $250, valid for 12 months and covering entry to 2,000+ federal recreation sites. This pass also waives new non-resident surcharges at select high-demand parks
Without this pass, non-U.S. visitors (age 16+) will pay the standard entrance fee plus a $100 per-person surcharge at popular parks, including Yosemite National Park
Fee-free days will apply only to U.S. residents, meaning international visitors must pay all applicable fees year-round
