Good morning!

I just wanted to pop on to let you know we are running a second information session for people who are interested in the Yorkshire Blue Badge Tourist Course.

So if you have any questions like what will the course really be like? Is it for me? What can I expect? You can join course directors and other Blue Badge Tourist Guides on a Zoom call. This is an open meeting and aimed at those who have not previously completed a Blue Badge Course.

Fancy trying something new?

Why not train to become a Yorkshire Blue Badge Tourist Guide?

Taking place between Jan 2027 - March 2028, the part-time course will be run by the Institute of Tourist Guiding.

Here’s what you can expect:

- A nationally recognised Blue Badge qualification
- Part-time training alongside work or other commitments
- Practical guiding experience across Yorkshire
- The skills and confidence to lead tours for visitors from around the world
- Training to guide at some of Yorkshire’s most iconic attractions
..And by Summer 2027 you could be fully qualified to lead tours in York Minster!
