Grenada ⇢ St. Vincent ⇢ Bequia

The ride over to Bequia was by the way of a “party boat” (cargo ship) - WORST sea experience ever!
I have never rocked side to side on the sea water like that before 🫠

I don’t recommend it. I don’t know if the actual ferry is a smoother ride but nah papa.

Very beautiful island, though. Perfect balance of peace and relaxation. Reminds me how similar we are as a Caribbean community.

Sometimes that really is the whole itinerary. Find a beautiful spot, eat something, old talk for a while and let the day move without trying to plan every minute of it.

There is plenty to experience in Grenada, but some of my favorite days at home are the ones where nothing major happens. I just sit somewhere pretty and enjoy being there. 🥹🇬🇩

Overplanning Grenada is one of the easiest ways to miss the best parts of it.

Because you can leave home with ONE plan, make a “quick stop,” run into somebody, end up getting food, hear about something happening somewhere else…

And now the whole day gone 😂🇬🇩

That’s Grenada.

Have a plan, yes. But leave room for the island to change it.

This is not a panic post. It is a plan-properly post 😌

During the August 2 to 11 Spicemas period, Grenada recorded 11,299 arrivals, up 20% from 2025. Non-national visitor arrivals increased 24%.

That means more people moved through Grenada during the same ten-day window. So if Spicemas 2027 is on your mind, waiting until the last minute to think about accommodations, transportation, mas and your actual itinerary is not the strategy.

And please, learn what you’re coming to experience. Spicemas is more than a list of fetes. The culture is what gives the celebration meaning.
