It was indeed a pleasure attending yesterday’s town hall meeting hosted by True Blue Bay Resort regarding its upcoming development in St. Louis, Carriacou.

The project, which is expected to be completed in 2028 and officially opened during the resort’s anniversary celebrations, will feature 30 rooms, an addition that is greatly needed on the island, particularly during festivals and peak periods when accommodation is often in short supply.

Plans for the development also include two swimming pools, one of which will be accessible to day visitors, as well as a restaurant with a seating capacity of approximately 80 persons. The restaurant is also expected to be open to the public.

Additionally, the beach area will remain accessible to residents and visitors alike, ensuring that the community continues to enjoy this beautiful coastal space.

This investment represents a significant step forward for tourism development in Carriacou and will help strengthen the island’s capacity to welcome more visitors while creating new opportunities for economic growth.
