Just returned from Beaches Turks & Caicos and wanted to share my overall experience since I have so many families ask about this resort! 🏝️
I can honestly say this resort is one of those places where first hand experience and room selection really matter. After seeing the entire property in person, I completely understand why some people absolutely love it while others feel underwhelmed — where you stay and what you expect makes a huge difference here.
The beach: 10/10.
Truly one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to several Caribbean islands. Grace Bay is every bit as beautiful as the photos — crystal clear water, soft white sand, calm enough for families, and just that unreal turquoise color all day long. This alone is a major reason people return to Turks & Caicos over and over again.
The resort: 8/10
It is a massive resort so depending on vibe this may not be for everyone! There are 5 total villages throughout the property, all with completely different vibes, room styles, locations, and levels of convenience. Some areas feel much newer and more updated, while others are more centrally located or better for families with younger kids. For families, though, this place is hard to beat. The amount of pools, activities, and things for kids to do is honestly impressive! The water park was a huge highlight and there’s always something going on throughout the resort day and night.
Treasure Beach Village (newest): 10/10
Treasure Beach especially stood out and definitely gives the resort a more modern feel compared to some of the older villages. The beach area is great with plenty of chairs and right next to the pool so you can easily go between them. The infinity pool and swim up bar were also a plus!
Food: 8/10
Food overall was good. We had some favorites and a few meals we didn’t love but that did not stop us from finding plenty of choices to eat! Had we stayed longer, we would have loved to gotten a few repeat meals in that we really enjoyed but we also wanted to try new places each day. Butch’s was a favorite and is a new addition to the Treasure Beach village. I highly recommend Club level rooms to assist with getting dining reservations here! We loved the mix of some fancier feel restaurants while also have many casual options that had lots of kid friendly meals.
Bonus: Located only 20 minutes from the airport so super easy to get to!
Biggest takeaway: if you’re considering Beaches Turks & Caicos, room selection and understanding the layout of the property is EVERYTHING. I highly recommend working with someone who has experienced the resort firsthand and can provide tips and tricks to make your trip even better. I still rank this resort as one of my top recommendations for families, especially larger families or multi generational groups!
