Amazing Adjarian experience with DOT Group ✨

Golden, sweet, and a little sticky… Baklava is one of those desserts you don’t forget 🍯✨

In Adjara, it’s usually a bit richer, with lots of nuts and syrup. You take a bite and it’s soft, crunchy, and sweet all at once.

It’s actually quite simple to make.

Thin layers of dough (phyllo) are brushed with butter one by one.
Between the layers, you add crushed nuts, usually walnuts.
Then it’s baked until golden and crispy.

While it’s still hot, sweet syrup or honey is poured over the top, so everything soaks in and becomes soft and juicy inside.

You let it rest a bit… and that’s it.

Best with coffee, and even better when shared 🤍
