🇬🇪 Also called the Mother Fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defense.
📜 The fortress was established in the 4th century, around the period when the city itself was founded.
🧐 It was then known as Shuris-tsikhe (Invidious Fort).
📌 St. Nikolos church, inside the fortress walls, dates from the 12th century. It was renovated in 1996.

🧳 Inclusive of December 2019, 9.3 million international non-resident travellers have visited Georgia.
🔝 The increase is + 7.1% compared to the same period last year.

🇬🇪 As for the tourist visits, 5 million tourists have visited Georgia, which is a 6.8% increase compared to the same period last year, reports the National Tourism Administration.

🏦 International travel income amounts to $ 3.051.424.548.
📈 The increase is + 35 million USD compared to the same period last year.
