Tour Description:
Day I
Meet at the airport, Accommodation in high class hostel, sightseeing of Old Tbilisi and the historical city of Mtskheta, You are getting an opportunity to visit VI th century “Jvari Monastery”, XI th century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, in which is kept Jesus Christ’s burial shroud. Free time and return to Tbilisi. Evening dinner for the whole group and Georgian-National Dance Show Program.

Day II
Departure to Highland Kazbegi In this magnificent place you can explore historic-cultural sightseeings, such as XIV th century Gergeti Trinity Church, located 2200 meters above sea level, which gives an opportunity to enjoy beautiful panoramic view of Kazbegi. On your way there, you will see Ananuri Fortress Complex, white and black Aragvi rivers merging spot and mineral waters. Free time and return to Tbilisi.

Day III
Kakheti wine tour. Feel the Spring colors in the city of love Signaghi. Its streets create a wonderful romantic mood. The views of the beautiful Alazani Valley are filled with pleasant impressions.You will also visit the St. Nino’s Nunnery in Bodbe during the tour. Apart from the beautiful monastery complex, we will visit the miraculous spring of St. Nino. Also wine tasting You will enjoy the traditional Georgian wine set in Qvevri, and get acquainted with the history of wine making. Free time and return to Tbilisi.

Day IV
Gori- Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe is a rock-hewn, one of the oldest towns of Caucasus. The name of a town first appears in VI th century historical records. Uplistsikhe contains streets, small parks, water sewage system, theater, pharmacy, baths, mysterious secret tunnels, etc. Tour also involves visiting XIII century Gori Fortress which had strategic importance. You will also explore Soviet Union leader - Joseph Stalin Museum, a place where he was born. Free time and return to Tbilisi.

Kazbegi
Highland Kazbegi is located on the north side of Caucasus ridge’s historical valley. Its lowest point is 1400 meter above the sea level. According to Greek myth Prometheus was chained to a rock in Caucasus. In this magnificent place you can explore historic-cultural sightseeings, such as XIV th century Gergeti Trinity Church, located 2200 meters above sea level, which gives an opportunity to enjoy beautiful panoramic view of Kazbegi. On your way there, you will see Ananuri Fortress Complex, white and black Aragvi rivers merging spot and mineral waters. Kazbegi is also known for its ski winter resort.

Borjomi
Borjomi is a famous resort town in Georgia, famous for its artesian mineral springs. Apart from mineral waters and variety of rare coniferous trees this place is also historically significant. There (on a territory of Borjomi) were found remains of I st century carved stone baths. We can assume that Borjomi mineral water’s a healing effect is dating back in earlier centuries. You will also get a chance to visit russian royal family Romanov’s summer palace, beautiful building inspired by Renaissance times.

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the heart of Georgia. Historical Old Tbilisi is the most unique and magnificent part of Tbilisi, having a mix of many different cultures. You will explore Georgian orthodox churches, as well as mosques, synagogues and Armenian apostolic church. You will also visit an old sulphur baths, Narikala fortress, the world’s biggest orthodox church - Sameba Trinity church, a very beautiful botanical garden, you will enjoy a walk on a narrow, old, and beautiful Tbilisi streets with its old houses and wooden balconies, and many more places with historical significance. Vardzia- Rabati
Historic- geographical region of Samtskhe Javakheti, is a southern region of Georgia. A region is rich in old historical places, one of them being Rabati Castle. The history of a castle starts from IX th century. During late mid-centuries Samtskhe-Javakheti has been under the rule of Ottoman empire, the fact highly influenced the spread of Eastern cultures in Georgia. On the territory of our tour place,we are introduced to Historical-ethnographic Museum: keeping the mid-century’s historical scripts and writings, battle weapons, everyday use items and many other. You also get a chance to see Vardzia, the historical cave monastery (dating XII-XIII centuries), which is on the list of UNESCO World heritage list since 2007.
