Of all the exciting things happening in the Boiler Room world this one is particularly exciting: We teamed up with The Guardian on a new project called "Gateways" - a series of articles, recordings and films covering the visions and musical worlds of some of the most iconic musicians of our time.

First up is legendary drummer Tony Allen with whom we've travelled to Lagos and documented not only the Nigerian music scene, but also explored how other Nigerian artists (from Skepta and Sade to NTS Radio's Femi Edmund Adeyemi and Kele Okereke) made their mark on British music.
