The Story of Churchkhela
Churchkhela is a traditional Georgian sweet with centuries of history.
It was made as a nutritious, portable, and long-lasting food for travelers and warriors.

The Ingredients
Churchkhela is mainly made from:
🍇 Grape juice
🌰 Walnuts or hazelnuts
🌾 Flour

Threading the Nuts
Walnuts or hazelnuts are carefully threaded onto a long string to create the base of Churchkhela.

The Grape Coating
Grape juice is cooked with flour until it becomes thick and smooth.
The nut strings are then dipped into the mixture.

Drying
Finally, Churchkhela is hung and left to dry naturally.
The result is a soft, sweet grape coating with crunchy nuts inside.
