The Policy Leadership Panel emphasized the critical role of policy leadership in advancing strategic human capacity development for improved ATM safety, highlighting the need to raise awareness and visibility of the aviation industry among policymakers, and to implement policies that support recruitment, deliberate retention through upskilling, and competitive remuneration.
The NGAP panel emphasized the importance of translating aviation workforce policies into practical action, highlighting the need to amplify youth voices, foster mentorship, and create clear career pathways. They also underscored the value of continuous training to build a resilient and future-ready ATM workforce, ensuring sustainable growth and leadership development across generations.
