The other day I took my group to Makola Market, and they absolutely loved the experience! πŸ›οΈ

One of the things that fascinates many visitors is how Ghanaian women carry items on their heads with such balance and grace without anything falling. So we turned the curiosity into a fun cultural experience.

My guests tested their bargaining skills in the market and even tried balancing items on their heads like the local market women. It was a beautiful moment of learning, laughter, and cultural exchange.

Experiences like this are what make travel meaningfulβ€”and I’m glad BlasTours Ghana could make it possible.

This is the first Brazilian group I’m guiding, and I can confidently say it has been an incredible experience journeying with these wonderful people across three West African countries. πŸ‡§πŸ‡·βœ¨πŸŒ

We began our adventure in Cotonou, Benin, continued through Togo, and have now arrived in beautiful Ghana. The goal of this tour is to help the group trace their roots, and the carefully curated itinerary by BlasTours Ghana has made this journey truly meaningful.

From walking the historic Slave Route in Ouidah, Benin, to exploring the Slave House in Agbodrafo, Togo, and now experiencing the Nkyimkyim Museum in Hwakpo, Ghana β€” every step has been powerful and transformative.

Our journey continues as we visit the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site, the Cape Coast Castle, and the Elmina Castle. By the end of this tour, we hope they will be fully immersed in the history, culture, and everyday life of these three remarkable West African nations.

Exciting days are ahead! Thank you, Blas Tours, for making this possible. πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒ

Meet TT, affectionately known as Mr. T β€” one of the finest tour drivers you’ll find in Ghana. He’s calm, highly professional, and always wears a warm smile. I’ve lost count of the number of road trips we’ve taken together across Ghana, Togo, and Benin.

Today marks day four of our exciting journey exploring Benin πŸ‡§πŸ‡― with the renowned Professor Peter Martin Narins, his lovely wife, and their friend Bobbi. We're currently in the picturesque village of Adjara, where we had the opportunity to take a breathtaking boat ride along the stunning Black River - truly a surreal experience.

This adventure is part of a 14-day tour that began in Benin and will take us through the beautiful landscapes of Togo πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡¬ and GhanaπŸ‡¬πŸ‡ . I'd like to extend my gratitude to BlasTours Ghana for entrusting me as the lead guide for this trip.

Professor Peter Martin Narins is a distinguished figure in the field of biology and acoustics, known for his extensive research on animal communication, particularly in frogs. His work has significantly contributed to our understanding of acoustic signals and their role in the behavior of various species
