How many forts and castles in Ghana do you know?

This is Fort Prinzenstein, located in Keta.
This is a Danish Fort that was actively involved in the slaved trade built in the late 1700s. It was built with oyster shells, some of which can be seen now due to the wear and tear of the building. A large part of the Fort has Ben destroyed by the sea. Thus a sea defense has now been created to preserve and protect what's left of the Fort.

Whenever you're in Keta, do well to visit 🇬🇭

This is the Famous Larabanga Mosque. The location of the Mosque was determined after a pear thrown by the leader and Imam of the acient Larabanga community landed there. This sacred ground is not only a Mosque but also holds the remains of this great Imam.

Did you know that Larabanga is a 100% Muslim community? No church can be found there.
