Thursday, December 12, the #๐ด๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ pitch event took place at the residence of the German Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Ambassador Daniel Krull. It was a night filled with passion, creativity, and national pride as 14 exceptional candidates shared their thoughts on the topic, "๐ช๐ต๐ ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ."
The evening was graced by an esteemed panel of judges: Miriam Thomas, Patience Sangmor, Kuukua Eshun, Bright Ofori, and Anna Wasserfall. These accomplished individuals had the challenging task of evaluating heartfelt and innovative pitches that reflected the candidatesโ love for Ghana and their aspirations to explore Germanyโs world-class apprenticeship programs.
At the end of the competition, the winners were announced:
- First Place: Dzidefo Mensah Dotse
- Second Place: Shaunn Armah
- Third Place: Shirley Ann Osei-Owusu
These brilliant individuals captivated the judges with their eloquence, originality, and deep sense of patriotism. As part of their reward, they will travel to Germany to further their dreams, with their flight tickets generously sponsored by Brussels Airlines. Special thanks to Ms. Matilda Hammond, Sales Manager at Brussels Airlines, who was present at the event to show the airlineโs unwavering support for youth empowerment.
Although only three winners were selected, every candidate demonstrated remarkable talent and pride in their heritage. The full list of other participants includes:

The vision of the project is to inspire young Ghanaians to explore fulfilling career paths through Germanyโs exceptional apprenticeship programs. The event also highlighted the shared commitment between Ghana and Germany to building bridges and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
Dr. Michael Blank, Delegate of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana), expressed his excitement about the project and the prospects it offers for fostering cross-cultural collaboration and development.
