Brazil House in Accra Brazil House in Old Accra It has been central in the history of Ghana for the last 150 year and in the history of the Ga people for centuries.

Old Accra is composedof Usher and James Town, an area of 98 hectares situated in the centre of Accra and collectively know as Ga Mashie. Brazil House is situated in the heart of Jamestown between Ussher Fort and James Fort and it is an important historical landmark. Today, mmunity are known as the the descendants of the Brazilian community are known as the Tabons, with the Tabon Mantse as their leader.
